Description
Remote audits? Yes, remote audits. Due to the change in times, some auditors are requesting they remotely audit more work. And on the other side, we have audit clients asking us if we can perform more — if not all — of the audit remotely.
Please join this session to learn more about what completing a remote audit means to you and your agency. Hint — yes, you still need to prepare all the workpapers. Yes, there are secrets that our real-life auditors will share with you about the practices (including new ones) that auditors do not usually reveal to their clients while performing an audit. Let’s discuss solutions to create efficiencies in the remote auditing process.
Let us provide some ideas to help identify areas for improvement in your audit process — best practice suggestions for helping streamline remote audit work, including ways to collaborate with everyone when they are working off site. This is a great chance to ask your questions too!
Learning Objectives:
- Explore the remote audit process.
- Discuss what the auditors are looking to accomplish during a remote audit.
- Define what you should prepare for a remote audit. (Hint: Not many changes here.)
