Michelle R. Swoboda, CPA

Michelle Swoboda is a partner in Wipfli’s Duluth, Minnesota, office with 20 years of experience in auditing nonprofit organizations, governments, and defined contribution plans. She has extensive experience in financial reporting requirements and uses this knowledge in analyzing financial statements to help management and the board of directors to not only comply with generally accepted accounting principles, but understand the current financial picture of the organization and plan for the future.
Michelle also helps nonprofit and government organizations improve the effectiveness of internal control structures through analysis and application of best practices. In addition, she has provided training on generally accepted accounting principles and internal controls at Wipfli’s national nonprofit and government conference.
