Nicole Markowski

Manager, Corporate Development

Nicole Markowski is a manager with over 10 years of experience in merger and acquisition due diligence and integration. She is a member of Wipfli’s corporate development team and works closely with incoming firms to create an integration plan that makes the transition as smooth as possible.

Nicole applies her communications skills along with intense curiosity to help customize the plans for incoming firms. She has been involved in more than 30 M&A integrations and has helped manage two divestitures. Nicole has continued to build process around the different facets of M&A including working to set up a proactive prospecting process with the leadership team at Wipfli and creating structure around analyzing a prospect. She is involved in all areas of M&A at Wipfli including prospecting, due diligence, and integration.

In her previous role with the firm, she created an end-to-end process for technology integration of firms joining Wipfli. Over the course of 5 years this process was developed and improved many times and continues to be the template that IT uses to integrate technology.
