The Challenge

NorthLakes Community Clinic struggled to report on the organization’s performance. Data was stored on disparate systems and was time-consuming to pull together manually. Even then, the spreadsheet-based reporting format provided little insight for decision-making. The nonprofit needed a better way to see and analyze its data to make better staffing decisions, improve patient services and collect timely payments.

The Solution

Wipfli led a discovery session to learn what types of business intelligence the clinic needed and how it could use data to advance strategic priorities, and that session identified clinical management, financial management and patient services as the three target areas. To support these objectives, Wipfli helped NorthLakes implement QlikView, a cloud-based analytics solution that integrates clinic data and returns intuitive visual data displays.
