Wipfli is pleased to announce Daniel Winokur has joined the firm’s national healthcare services practice as a partner. Winokur is an executive management consultant with 15 years of experience advising federally qualified health centers and other socially responsible ventures.
Among his areas of focus are healthcare finance, mergers and acquisitions, fundraising and federal grants, and legal compliance.
“With Daniel now part of our team, Wipfli’s ability to support and service the needs of our community health organizations is even broader and stronger,” said Kelly Arduino, Wipfli’s healthcare industry leader. “He understands the specific pressures that highly regulated, grant-supported healthcare organizations serving the underserved face.
“He and our Wipfli team are truly committed to helping community health organizations in any way we can, whether it’s with financial operations, reimbursement or technology improvements — starting with the development of robust strategies — making sure they can be there for their clients and communities.”
Winokur also has extensive experience as a CFO, with a focus on revenue maximization for nonprofits and strategic transformation of enterprises, including turnarounds.
“I am passionate about bringing Wipfli’s class-leading advisors in FQHC, rural healthcare, graduate medical education, audit and more to organizations so they can realize their potential,” Winokur said.
A native of Berkeley, California, Winokur lives in El Cerrito, California, with his wife, son and daughter. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, and his Master of Business Administration degree in sustainable business from Presidio Graduate School in San Francisco, California. Before joining Wipfli, Winokur was the chief of strategy, leadership and development at Facktor Health.
