Richard J. Salter, CPA, JD, LL.M.
Director
Rich Salter is a director in the firm’s tax practice, a member of the National Tax Office, and is focused on providing tax solutions that position clients to achieve their objectives. He draws on more than 40 years of experience in large local and regional public accounting firms and as the CFO of a drug manufacturer. Having been on both sides of the client relationship, Rich is able to bring a valuable and unique perspective to his clients. He serves a diverse client base, from high-net-worth individuals to start-up companies to established businesses grossing north of $300 million, encompassing businesses in a variety of industries and entity types including manufacturing and distribution, real estate, and professional services. Rich firmly believes that tax planning driven solely by the desire to save taxes often results in losing sight of more important business, financial, and personal objectives. He guides clients to the most efficient and effective way of achieving the desired outcome.
